The European Foundation for Quality in E-Learning (EFQUEL) will host a design workshop for an open course on “Quality in (E-)Learning”. The event will take place in the morning of 16th July 9:00 – 14:30 in the new EFQUEL offices at Rue de l’Industrie 10 in Brussels. Would you like to participate? Please write an email to anete.lejiete [at] efquel [dot ]org indicating your interest and you will receive some further practical information.

This is a second workshop on the topic. A previous event was hosted during the EFQUEL innovation forum/LINQ conference in May 2014. Following the approach of the “Open Educational Idea” project the 1,5 hour workshop was designed to find interested collaborators, ideas and innovations to create the highest quality open course (or MOOC?) on the topic. Approximately 25 e-learning, technology-enhanced learning and quality experts joined and shared their ideas on:

  • a possible target group of the course
  • course objectives
  • learning outcomes
  • and pre-requisites/constraints

in an open document. The outcomes are accessible here and will be refined and detailed during the design workshop 16th July.
